Two video campaigns produced as part of Red Circle Films. In 2015, we filmed volunteers at work in seven countries to create a six-video series highlighting UNV's Strategic Framework. In 2016, we produced six case studies from six countries to accompany the release of UNV's State of the World's Volunteerism report. The videos portray volunteers from diverse backgrounds and geographies working in diverse fields: UN Peacekeeping missions, environmental and social programs, youth and gender initiatives, among others.
The campaigns were designed to show the value volunteers add to the UN's development work but also promote a fuller understanding of volunteerism. Volunteers not only bring enthusiasm, but also expertise and experience. These qualities help build an emotional connection with the viewer and provide an insight to the UN's work for a general audience.
